The Math Clinic Tutoring Service guides students in their study of high school math with a strong emphasis on strengthening their sense of self-confidence. One-on-One tutoring sessions supports and encourages students from middle school through high school in their study of math. Students receive tutoring help for the entire range of high school math including prealgebra, algebra, geometry, advanced algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, statistics, and physics.
Math Clinic in person one-on-one tutoring sessions are conducted at the Cockeysville Public Library.
In Math Clinic tutoring sessions the student receives clear and concise instruction on any specific math concept they may present. The goal is to de-mystify each concept, reduce it to its most fundamental elements, and help the student to realize that each topic is not as difficult as they may have imagined. For most topics, the student receives a concise 1-2 page Math Clinic Study Guide that reduces each concept to its most essential elements. This enables the student to immediately realize success and gain confidence with class assignments and problems sets.
First time students can schedule a 50 minute Introductory Session for $35.
Regular 50 minute sessions are $55.

The Math Clinic offers a unique and effective common sense approach to entrance test preparation. Our proprietary Test Prep Program incorporates extensive instruction and practice while at the same time continuously identifying and addressing the concepts most in need of strengthening.
Our Test Prep Program can stand alone or be integrated and included with the student’s regular coursework tutoring by assigning take home problem sets and practice tests. This can be a very cost effective way to provide the student with specific coursework support while at the same time preparing for the SAT. The Test Prep Program also serves as a terrific comprehensive review of core math concepts that strengthens each student’s coursework foundation.
Test Prep tutoring is conducted and scheduled as the One-On-One tutoring sessions at Cockeysville Public Library.

As an additional service to Math Clinic students, the Math Clinic also provides affordable evening online homework consultation sessions to help students with their homework assignments when needed. This level of support assures that time spent on homework will be a satisfying and meaningful and that the student remains current and confident.
This service is ideal for students that find themselves at home and stuck on a homework assignment with the newest concept. They just need a jump start to get a homework assigment moving toward completion in a meaningful way. Students can get their questions answered as soon as possible and complete practice assignments efficiently and with success. This is the key to building and maintaining their sense of self-confidence. Getting this level of immediate help eliminates frustration and prevents practicing doing the problems wrong.
This service also works well for students that are under the weather and are missing school. An online session keeps them current with their class while recuperating and resting at home.
